I am delighted to invite you to attend the Leadership Voyage Conference and Voyager Awards for Third Sector Leadership. In designing this conference, CO3 has been mindful of the challenging times in which our sector is operating. In such difficult times, it is essential to give leaders in Northern Ireland’s third sector space to consider future trends and developments, skills to manage the forthcoming change and inspiration and passion to lead their organisation through change. This conference will include thoughtful imputes on some of key strategic issues charity leaders are considering right now. In addition, senior political figures will engage with conference participants on their view of the sector, and some world class speakers will help you think directly about your role as a leader in Northern Ireland’s third sector.
Never was it more important for us to seek out and identify those people whose leadership is making a real difference to civic society in Northern Ireland. As the issues facing leaders in the third sector increase in volume and complexity, we are especially delighted, in marking our 25thanniversary, that the conference will include the first ever Voyager Awards for Third Sector Leadership. The evening session of the conference will stage these unique leadership awards for third sector CEOs. The Voyager Awards will be a celebration of the contributions made to our society by the resourceful and creative leaders working within Northern Ireland’s third sector. These awards will also provide recognition for the skill, talent and creativity found across the third sector.
